Thank you for signing up to be a Captain’s Challenge Advocate! Captain’s Challenge is UT Martin’s day of giving—a 24-hour online challenge for alumni, friends, parents, students, faculty, staff, and fans to show support for current and future Skyhawks.
Your work as an advocate makes a big difference. Follow the timeline below to ensure another successful day of giving for UT Martin. Let’s get started!

Vol ‘n Two
Known previously as You+2, this campaign challenges you to make a gift and recruit at least two others to give as well. When you reach this goal, you’ll receive exclusive UT swag to show your pride and our appreciation.
Advocate Dashboard
Access the advocate dashboard to track personal fundraising goals with real-time updates like how much money you raise and how many donors came through your link. You will see overall advocate stats in the dashboard until you log in to your GiveCampus account.
GO TO YOUR DASHBOARD
In the upper right, select Sign Up if you have not yet created a GiveCampus account before, or Login if you already have one. An account is not required for us to track your fundraising, but it is needed if you want to view your personal impact in the dashboard.
Here are the tools you have available within your dashboard:
Sharing
Use the buttons under “Recruit Donors” to share your link directly to Facebook, X (formerly known as Twitter), LinkedIn, or copy the link to share in other communications.
Personal Video
Want to get creative? Upload a video by clicking the “Create Your Personal Video” button. Each time someone clicks your link, they will see the video you provided. Videos must be approved by UT Martin staff, so make sure you upload ahead of time so your video is ready to go by April 1.

Let your family and friends know you’ll be participating by sharing about Captain’s Challenge through personal emails or by word of mouth.
Explore the online toolkit and download graphics to share on social media.
Update your social media profile and cover photos to show you support both UTM and Captain’s Challenge.
Make your gift today!
As an advocate, you have early access to the Captain’s Challenge website starting on Monday, March 30. Your support will inspire others! Designate your gift to the area of the university that interests you most. Pledges can be fulfilled, too.
Introduce your social network to Captain’s Challenge! We recommend posting at least one to three times before April 1 to promote the day of giving. Consider sharing the exciting match and challenge opportunities, or share a personal story about how UT Martin has impacted your life.
