Alumni in the Classroom

Designed to enrich the learning experiences of students, the Office of Alumni Affairs has developed a database of alumni who are willing to return to campus and speak in the classroom. We encourage alumni to share their insights, experiences and expertise with students by volunteering in the Alumni in the Classroom program.

Who can participate?

Any UTM Alumni may sign-up to participate. Course instructors will be contacted to determine the proper topic and time for a presentation if it fits within a courses curriculum.

How do I enroll?

Enrolling is easy!  Send an email to alumni@utm.edu and you will be sent directions and a link to complete your volunteer form.

A note about expenses.

If you are invited and agree to speak in the classroom, please note that you are responsible for your own expenses—we cannot reimburse travel or lodging costs for classroom visits at UT Martin. In some cases, depending on availability, class size and subject matter, videoconferencing of your presentation also may be possible.
