Join us during Homecoming as we celebrate the unveiling of the new life-size bronze Captain Skyhawk Statue and Bench. Made possible through the generosity of alumni and friends, this landmark project honors the spirit and traditions of UT Martin and will serve as a lasting gathering place for generations of Skyhawks. Supporters are invited to attend this special dedication ceremony and be among the first to experience the university’s newest campus landmark.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Charley and Mrs. Shannon Deal for graciously designating honorarium gifts made in their honor to help bring this special project to life.
The University is grateful to Lugar Foundry for its outstanding work in designing and casting the life-size bronze Captain Skyhawk Statue and Bench. Their artistry and commitment to excellence have resulted in a timeless addition to the UT Martin campus.
